His budget is $20.  Of course, if you can't find anything, just show the next best thing I guess.

Yes, I feel bad for his brother, but an upgrade for BF2 on that machine is 90-100 bucks.

Ok, here goes! (It is an old system, I think but am not sure, that is was from a dell computer of some kind that was used as a mass installation? I.E: Over 100 installed at a go!)

HDD: There is a possibility of either a Maxtor 6L250R0 (250gb), currently in use on the machine! Or a Western Digital WD1600BB-00RDA0, both are ATA drives! (I told you it was old!) But I would prefer to keep hold of the HDD as you never know whats on them

I did use the PC to play BF2, not particulary well but it did the job at the time! All settings pretty much on "Low". But you could possibly get hold of a cheap and better GFX's card quite easily.

I must be honest that I am kind of loathed to get rid of it as I use it as a second computer to do my BOINC projects (Not very well!) and uTorrent stuff and thats about it, as I can keep my main rig free of such things. My OP was supposed to be a joke Sorry but as there seems to be some interest I am open to offers?

Yep now I know this is a troll. If I was at risk for death, I would not waste it on playing a 4 year old game on a cheap computer.

My understanding was that it had an AGP slot thingy-ma-jig, but I stand corrected, then whats is the Radeon 9700 card then?

Hmm..  If it's impossible to upgrade, what's the cheapest PC someone can build that could allow him to play BF2?
