I currently have a steelpad 5L which isnt in top-notch condition anymore, and is too small for my mouse sensitivity anyway (think move the mouse 25cm to turn around once in-game)

I've got about 70x60cm of free space to work with so even the biggest ones should fit. The desk itself is covered in scratches and such from working on my PC on it, so I do actually need a mousemat.

Suggestions on good + huge mousemats?

That thing's so big you end up being forced to put your keyboard on it - so you dont really get that much extra size.

There's a 3XL size. It's almost double the width than the one in the pic. It should give you plenty of space.

I love it, it's cheap and does the job nicely, It also looks the part.

Well if your desk material sucks like mine, it makes sense to get a big mousepad. I'm about to get one of those huge xtrac ones.

Yep any deformity on the surface is going to cause any beam that hits it to go back at a different angle and give conflicting data compared to the other receptors. Though I do not know how much this would effect them its still not something you want.
