To be fair on the pedestrian, the cars were far away when she was crossing the road and still much further when she started to cross probably. She obviously misjudged the speed of the cars that were coming towards her. Probably wasn't expecting the cars to be driving so fast. It happens. In my opinion, in this case, drivers fault more than pedestrian. Shouldn't be going that damn fast!

Yeah, 'cause there's absolutely no middle ground between finding something hilarious and feeling bad about it.

Idiot.
Hold on I can soap box too. 1 second.

YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD FOR MAKING A JOKE ABOUT SOMETHING YOU CAN'T CONTROL

Ok done. Now what I am saying, since you lack the mental ability to effectively interrupt the meaning behind my words, is that "telling people they should feel bad about making a joke about the death or misfortune of a person is utterly pointless since 1. You won't be able to change the feeling of that person and 2. Said person did not do anything wrong and did not cause said death or misfortune."  But never mind, I guess we should all take the middle ground of being stoic about everything or say the token line of "that's too bad"

Fuck that, the world isn't rainbow and butterflies.
Oh give it a fucking rest.

"The world is a hard place, blah blah blah".

There's nothing funny or entertaining about watching a car-crash; the prick OP probably only posted the link in the first place because it had one of his beloved, mass-produced and overpriced "Beemers" in it (I think that means a BMW, although I'm not sure). You shouldn't feel bad because other people disapprove of your joke, no, but you should question why you feel the contrived need to laugh at things like this on-cue when you're on the Internet.

Uhhh ... a warranty doesn't cover you hitting someone. Insurance, perhaps, but not your warranty. Dumbass.

Generally getting hit by 1,500 pounds of steel going 120KMH (or 75MPH) doesn't result in the pedestrian winning

I would agree with you, but that didn't look like it was a road with a very high speed limit, either. Anyone here speak Romanian so we can get an actual breakdown of the news story? Besides, M3s have damn good brakes. It wouldn't have been hard to slow down considerably. Better to flatspot the tires than kill someone, even if it is technically their fault.

Da, tovarise.

Man struck Monday night on a pedestrian crossing in the center of the capital died at the hospital. To have that high speed, the driver who was injured, mainly by file criminal guilt for the murder, even if the pedestrian crossing on red.

In images from the surveillance camera are simple things at first sight. The driver, a young man of 19 years, hit a man crossing the street while pedestrians semaforul to look red. Theoretically, the law protects you drive on. In reality things are not like that. After having analyzed the images and measurements, the conclusion of the police is another.

"It held that the distance that has come a pedestrian was big enough, so at a slower speed, the driver could have avoided the impact, said Inspector Daniel main track. Sources say investigators from the speed that the car was over 100 kmh.

People May the law take into account an additional option. Driver to take part, apparently, a race car illegal. Record shows that in parallel with the machine on which to kill another man comes to car speed almost as great.

The victim has not yet been identified, and police made a call to all who could give details. The man was about 30 years and 1.80 m high. He was dressed in gray trousers and coloare in a red shirt.

Wait, what. I don't even know what you're saying here

The fact is, that she crossed the road because she saw cars that were far away. Sometimes it's hard to judge the speed of things. Watching that video, the speed at which those cars were coming down the road even took me by surprise. Obviously it was some sort of race going on between those two cars. I'm all for blaming pedestrians for getting hit by cars, and most of the time it's the fault of the pedestrian for being stupid. And even in this case, she probably could've done more to judge how fast those cars were moving. But still, I think it's harsh to blame her tbh

You don't always expect cars to be bombing down the road that fast, it all happens so quick that it's hard to react and react in the correct way

For driving way above the speed limit. That sort of speed in town is just stupid.

Totally inappropriate speed for where he was driving. Hope the prick got locked up for a long time.

10 M3's at each street corner?  There's quite a few significant differences between an M3 and your typical 3-series.  BMW's are all over the place here in SoCal, but I only see a few M3's in a month.  What with the 1 and 2 series coming around, we'll be inundated with BMW's.
