Another update!
Can another 285 GFX card fit in there? seems tight?

It would, only if I took my sound card out though. Won't be needing another one for quite a while though as it's handling everything at 1920@1200.Beduin wrote:

So put it all together, put in my hard drive from my current comp (without formatting) and..... not only did it work straight away....it booted straight into windows!
Some more pictures
Sorry for the badness of the pictures, the lighting in my room is really awkward. I'll get some better ones when I've done more cable management too!
looking great james! don't worry those pics are just great. I love silverstone cases. They look awsome.
Only bad thing about em is no dust filters, can't put dual slot card in lowest mobo slot and maybe bit difficult cable management.

Is there any mobo that can have em all without forcing stuff, having components that almost laying on each other? A spacey mobo ?james@alienware wrote:

James, the black interior looks shit-hot. I don't know why manufacturers don't make their internals black. How hard was it to get a decent coating, I've been wanting to do my Cosmos ever since I saw someone else had done it.
Corsair Obsidian! Man I keep drooling when I think about how awsome it will be!ghettoperson wrote:

Cheers, yeah I'm really pleased with the outcomeghettoperson wrote:

Yeah, it should be an option as in my opinion it looks waaay better too!
It only look me about half an hour but obviously you can put loads more time into it and do a primer with multiple coats of paint etc.
All I did was sand all the parts till the surface was slightly rough rather than smooth and shiney using some wet and dry paper. Then I just used a matt black heat resistant spray paint. That was it!
Because most of it's covered up anyway that's all you need! Looking in my case now all the painted bits you can see look perfect! You don't need to make it really complicated and time consuming like some people do!
Goddamn that is a nice PC you've got there, only the white fan looks really out of place. I'm jealous, time for me to get a job
am waiting for benchmarks..

Sexy setup James, love the case.
Overclocked yet? I am at 4GHz. No need for higher 24/7

It looks weird in the pics but it looks really good in RL! Because there are no other lights in the case apart from a few on the mobo it illuminates everything nicely.Lucien wrote:

They're coming. Got 3D Mark Vantage included with the rampage.Beduin wrote:

I'm at 3.8GHz at the moment, waiting for the fan clips for the cpu cooler to come in stock so I can use my other Enermax fan for push/pull.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

I'll probably just go for 4GHz too!
Yeah so my computer is now using my mobo box as a case... I've got it all apart (which I might add is a fucking pain in the ass on the Cosmos, and then tomorrow I'll buy some spraypaint and spray it.
My case will be a lot more work though, cause I don't have a removable motherboard try. James, how did you stop paint getting in the standoff holes? Leave standoffs in there when you paint?
Yeah, that will be more awkward.ghettoperson wrote:

I took all the stand offs out and just sprayed over everything. Because it's only spray paint - it's only a thin layer the stands offs just screw in fine.
Just be careful to spray from far enough back or else the paint will run.
Why don't you just put the sound card in the very bottom PCIx16 slot?james@alienware wrote:

ie; Mobo soundcard --> GTX --> GTX --> X-fi
Oh and that system =
I can't decide whether I should bother with primer or not.james@alienware wrote:

when I sprayed mine I used primer and then 3 coats of black. I wanted to do a clear coat, but there was none around at the time, and for the stand offs I just put a piece of tape around them, figuring if it messed up the paint at all, its just hidden by the mobo anyway.ghettoperson wrote:

I'll be updating that later btw as my ram is arriving today with my ram cooler and the side panel is finished.
GG on the cpu cooler, it is the best in most all the tests @ one of the best hardware review sites here
I came, too.james@alienware wrote:
