No one here realizes that. They're just a punch of post whores that will share anything, regardless of whether or not it pertains to the topic at hand or not.Hurricane2k9 wrote:
Do you people not fucking know how to read? He clearly says he needs a good choice for the northeastern UNITED STATES. Not the UK, not Ireland, not Scotland, not Australia not fucking Soviet Russia.
To the OP: I wish I could tell you what I was paying on VZW back home before I left, but I can't. My advice to you is this, though: Shop around as much as you can. You also said you're a student. Look into a student discount of any kind with all the carriers and also check with your university and see if they have a deal with any of the carriers. If you have a job, look into what benefits the company has. I worked at a grocery store chain called Publix with was based in the south east USA that had multiple deals with companies like Dell, GM and others that would give you some nice discounts. You simply had to be an employee.
Unfortunately, shopping for a cell phone plan is not like shopping for a car where you can negotiate the price. But since you're a student, you'll have lots of opportunities to get a good deal if any of the carriers or your school have things for students.
