Add a Pilot Kit.....  Let me explain my Idea...

When a Plane or Chopper spawns, a Pilot Kit spawns with it.  (Or Before actually..  In the same area.  as the Jet or Chopper)  THe person who claims the Kit get the Plane.  The Kit does NOT respawn until the Plane or Chopper is Destroyed.  THus eliminating the TK for Jet BS.  Once you get the Kit you have rights to that Plane until its blown up. 

This serves 2 purposes.  Helps eliminate the TKers and adds a Separate catagory for Pilots so the stats for the standard kits arent Skewed.....  Nothing bugs me more than seeing a Sniper with 5000 Kills but Only 100 Sniper Rifle Kills because he's always in a Plane collecting sniper Kills.   Or padding all their badges with Jet and CHopper kills.....   Its pretty easy for a Engineer to get 40+ Kills ina Jet....  Much more difficult for him to get it onthe ground....  THis can be said for ALL the kits....  Let the Ace pilots be ace pilots witout screwing up my Ground rankings.....



The second thing is minor but bugs the hell out of me.....

Take out the damn TK when one of my Moron teamates goes and gets taken out by a Tank I just took out with a TOW or ERYX.,.....   The damn thing is sitting there smoldering...  Its GONNA BLOW UP!  Why do I get a TK because some doorknob though a smoldering tank is good cover?   Or because there was a Spec ops Behind the tanktrying to set some C4.....

both are bad ideas - the first defeats the point of the game being accessible to everyone on the field at any time and the second is a none runner because the TK system is there for a reason, it needs rethinking but to scrap all together is madness

How does having a Pilot kit stop people from Flying?  It would just give people more of a chance to fly without the worry of TKing so much.  Once the plane goes down, a new Pilot kit spawns.  Person grabs it and now he gets the plane.  DOne.  Would definatly encorage MORE people to fly I would think.  Being a new pilot myself I rarely get a chance to fly ona full server because of TKs.....  Sucks....  But nothing I can do about it when I'm pubbing. 

How is  aPlan on the Carrier at Oman accessable to the the guy on the roof of the Hotel?  Maybe they should have planes spawn at a random spot on the battlefield each time.....  That would certainly allow more people the chance to fly.....   All I'm saying is let Pilots be PILOTS instead of ground Kits.....   And let the Person who is waiting for the Plane GET the plane.....    How many times do you see the SAME person up in the plane all round ewven though he gets sot down multiple times?  How is this encouraging other people to fly?   

As for the second, your suggesting that people should NOT blow up armor because one of your teamates might run up to the smoldering wreckage 15 seconds later?  I dont buy that.   Smoldering wreckages should NOT cause Teamkills.   Give the Kill to the person who was driving the Armor before it blew up if anything.  Ot better yet, Give the moron a Suicide.....  I certainly didnt suggest an eliminatin of the TK or even a Major Modification.....  Just scrap a single instance where the result is obvioulsy NOT a TK, as I had no controlwhatsoever of som other guy running up to a smoldering wreckage for cover.....  THAT should be a Suicide.........

Once the Plane spawns it could run a death timer like your in a Red Zone.....   If/When you die... Kit respawns.....

1. No. People would be dumb and TK anyway, and then blow up the jet/chopper. Enemy snipers would effectively destroy airpower for the duration of a jet/chopper's life.

2. Yes. TK handling still needs a bit more work.

The option to punish for TKs should be taken away and every server should just automatically boot you after 3. Like I've said before, my favorite server used to do that. Three TKs total, not just per map. That thing with the TK tally doesnt do shit unless a mod is active.

The leaderboards would be more realistic.
A guy could be a top 10 engineer, but never repaired a thing, never laid down a mine.
A guy could be a top medic, but never revived, healed.
A guy could be a top sniper, but never fired his rifle, all this because they were using vehicles.
I dont have problems with vehicles, IMO the vehicle stats should be completely separated from kit stats.

IMO we dont need new patches the game is NOW good as it is.
The idea i mentioned above is not vital at all, it is just something to make the leaderboards more realistic for those who are concerned...

The first doesn't make sense. You are already blowing up the plane, so the kit is gone as well. That means, both will be respawning. See, it's the same thing as now. Except you have to pick up a different kit now.

Huh?  Its the same Idea..  Just implemented ina different way..... 

But Pickingup a "Kit" this would allow EA/Dice to track the AIr stats easily.  Thats the only reason I sugested that.....   It couldbe a Selectable kit pre-spawn for that matter.....   

Lets face it, you dont see many Snipers getting into F-35's with a Couple Claymores, A Handful of Granades, and a M95....
The Pilot kit would be somthing like a Knife,MP-5, 92FS, Granades.....  Stamina would be the highest out of all the kits....  This would make them efective solders inthey dont get a plane/Helo.....

ummm... my idea doesent change the GAMEPLAY itself.
If i got it right your idea would limit the access to the vehicles and it would be extremely exploitable like FesterTheMolester said before thus changing the game itself. My idea would change only the stats, nothing more.

Im think once you got the pilot kit someone would put a few bullets in your head and take it.Even if they cant take it if he gets it the next time it respawns you can bet the first guy to get the kit will Tk him for it,and this will go on and on.This wont eliminate tk's.And if an enemy got his hands on the pilot kit the team would have no chance in the round with not air power.

And like somene said why should M95 bullets go through teamates glass?How the fuck is that a good think in any situation?

Because the weapon doesn't have a brain, and doesn't know that's your teammate. That's your job to distinguish.

I think leonnoe1 is trying to say what is the point in it going through teamates glass?The M95 is just a teamkilling weapon so pricks can get their own chopper or plane.
