I had 1 and 2 flashing, and at one point all 4 were flashing. I found opening it up, blowing the dust out completely and wiping the dvd laser with rubbing alcohol solved it almost every time

how to fix most rrods @ home
this worked for me
plug in you xbox, turn it on (it gets rrod) now take a thsirt and put it on the back exuast (the holes on the back) so no air can escape, after 5min the xbox is making huge noice (it is overheating) turn it off after 5 or 6 min. take the shirt of. turn the xbox on and tada no rrod.

I got 7 mother fucking rrod's all together. I got two free wireless controllers, a couple games, and 7 free moths of xbl out of it though. Fucking piece of shit, why do I love it so

Sure glad PS3 doesn't get these types of errors. I went to a car show and they had Devkits set up with the new Need for Speed game and after you'd play the console would RROD and the guy would have to restart it.
