Hi guys,

I've decided to update my old graphics card But i'm having trouble deciding between the XFX ati 4870 1gb gddr5 ($170) and the XFX 4890 1gb gddr5 (I can get it for $200 ).

In terms of price:performance, which is better? Is the extra 30 bucks worth it?

I would go for the 4870... Don't think there is a huge difference in the 2... other than the price.

Just bought the XFX4890 XT edition for about 10 bucks more

Also bought a 550 Watt PSU (Corsair vx550w) for my comp. Is it enough?

q6600 running a 2.4 stock, 4gb of 800mhz ram, Asus p5 series Mobo, 4890 xt, cd/dvd combo drive, 3 80mm fans.

I don't plan to do much overclocking and I wont be running crossfire anytime soon.
