Mah friend is looking for a sound card, limit $70. Newegg prefered.

I know the Xonar is pretty damn good, but its also pretty damn pricey, so thats out of the question. And he doesnt want to wait because he just dropped something like $300 on upgrades already. Will be used for both music and games. The speakers he uses are Logitech G51 5.1

I'm guessing PCI-E, so:

ASUS Xonar DX 7.1 Channels PCI Express Interface Sound Card

Price is $89.99, but $64.99 after the $25.00 Mail-In Rebate Card.

Ooh, thanks! Now I just have to make sure his failboard has a PCIx1 slot
