Just wanted to see who out there who has it the hardest to play the game. for example...

I have a wife and 2yr old boy. My father-in-law lives with us (recent stroke). and I work 2 jobs. So I can only play during the weeknight (mostly) when the wife, kid and sick father is passed out. Wife go's to bed after 11-12pm and I have to get up at 7am.... so I have my own 7hrs of sleep to sacrafice to get game time in...
Weekend gaming time is only mine when the wife go's to the store or out with her friends AND the kid and father are sleeping..

Next?

P.S. No bullshit please. lets see how much life really does impact our 'game time'.

I can only play on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and weeknights, however I never play much because I am so busy with other stuff online, but I guess that's selective.

I can't say I have it really ruff in real life but it is not the easiest, I go to school maybe skate a little after school for an hour, then go home do the little homework I got, then play single player (Dial-up <WTF) or I get on this site(thank god for it). I might get to go to my uncle's internet cafe, untill we get SBC yea ya! Then eat do dishes, yea...I had to pay for everything I know you have to in real life but still no help from pops or mom. I got to pay for my own internet my own compy every thing except Christmas and b-day (19 days whoop april 25) The only thing I got to look forward to is staring at my compy neons all night then go to sleep and repeat. Hey srry about ur pops in-law stroke realy am dude. I got 1 job all year working in My dads welding shop(it's realy fun, and if u get an aprenticship you get s sh*t load of money!) and in the summer i got a job with a guy down the street. I know some got it realy hard and some don't even have to lift a finger and then they get what ever they want...but we ain't all like dat. Peace out Eric

Well I only play on weekends, because my parents don't let me play on weekdays. Which sucks, because then on weekends I play nonstop. It's like a drug. I'm away from it and I crave it, then I get it and I don't stop using it. >.>

I wouldn't be surprised if I actually did better in school if I played an hour a day each day (after doing my work, and not playing the night before a test). It would satiate my want to play. Because, let's face it, BF2 is fuckloads more interesting and entertaining than scanning poetry and identifying the meter its written in.

I may as well throw my hat into the ring.

First of all, I have two computers, none of them good enough to play BF2. None of them good enough to even play BF1942, or the original Counter Strike. Secondly, I am a full time University student doing a double degree, (BA and LLB,) and have just started a part time job. When I do play, I go to an internet cafe. It costs approximatly $4 an hour, and I can normally get there on Wednesday after my solitary lecture. However, in a collection of over fourty computers, only two can play BF2 well. Unfortunatly, they are ALWAYS taken over by:
- One person playing BF2 who NEVER EVER leaves.
- One person diligantly playing World of Warcraft.

It's getting bloody tough to have a game, and I have only had one very short game in the last three weeks.

I'm so pathetic huh.

I feel your pain Tyferra, I too am at university, I am lucky enough to have a PC that can run the game relatively well but when im on campus i cant connect to games as the ports are all blocked (apparantly games aren't educational, pfft whats that all about? lol) so im now restricted to holidays and the occasional time I visit home, luckily its easter now and 4 weeks off to play BF2

Yeah, what's the gag with games being un-educational? BF2 is way more educational than my fucking HIST111 paper. Man is THAT a waste of time.

i brought the game (dont no why because my computer isent good enuf for it) ... i play at a lan cafe in the city once a week which i realy milk out i get up at 8am train it to the city and play from when it opens 10am to when it closes 8 - 11pm

+Varsity Track+hour to get home everyday= home at 19:30.
Dinner, 8 pm to do work/play etc.
Work takes an average of 3 hours, sometimes more.
Wake up at 5 am because I live far from school.

Plus because last year I stayed at home too much i've made myself go out every friday/saturday night so that takes away more time.

Longest time without BF2: 32 days, Last time I played: 4 days ago.

I'm gonna wonder what my friend's life will be like. He's taking FIVE Higher Levels. Including math.

i knew this girl who got a 90% and cried, the teacher had to take her to the counselor. and this was 8th grade, i mean come one! your grades in 8th grade aren't as important as high school! and a bloody 90% is pretty damn good!

im a freshman in high school so its not too hard to get game time. i do have to pay for internet and stuff too though. i play 2 days out of 5 weekdays because of rugby, or badminton (it's not a sissy sport if anyone thinks so). then on weekends, i play both days unless i have a rugby or badminton game. dont need much time studying cause im a freshman but in a couple of years ill get a lot less cause of the AP's im going to take, im being forced to take all AP's in my senior year!

@ Tyferra - i feel for you man, if i lived near you i would give you my old computer which is capeable of playing bf2. been trying to sell it for a while but none of my mates need it.

On the subject though, dont think i have it the hardest, but i only play BF2 on tue and thur as my G/F gets annoyed if i play it any more! she thinks i am neglecting her. HAHA just wait untill i get the xbox360 and some new games, then she will see what neglected REALLY is!

Man, I definately have it good compared to you lot.

I have college 3 days a week, thursday friday saturday sunday I have to play all day (but i never do) and the evenings too unless I'm seeing my girlfriend.

I do have a job but havent really been since I got bf2. (I got bf2 21st december) went back to work on the 5th on Jan...then again on the 28th and havent been since and I'm supposed to work 4 days a week delivering pizzas for dominos.

BF2 is far more fun than driving around for 7 hours though

Well i work from 8am to 430pm. after that i get about an hour of playing time maybe 2 hours if im lucky. then my girlfriend comes over for the rest of the night. i get a few hours on weekends though.

i work on the mercantile exchange as an analyst....i work from 9 - 3 here...then afterwards..about 4 days a week i bartend....i also live with my girlfriend and have a small webdesign company..i also teach indoor horticulture out of my house 2 days a week...so my play time gets whacked....i prolly get like 3 hours a week to play...max...

Yeah, same here. I dont have as many APs (AP Calculus, AP Physics) as you do, but still gotta study for them XD. All my friends are doing this "count down to AP test" thing, which is making me feel very awful.

Kids: 3. Ages 5,4,3 -FULL Custody
Work M-F 8:30-4:30.
Their Mom takes them every other weekend for a day and a half.
That is when she has the money for food or gas for her car.
But she always has money for Internet, Cable and WOW.

I get to do all things. Feed kids and self.
Do everyone's laundry. Clean house. Baths for kids. Tee Ball.
Hang out with the Girlfriend and her 2 kids. Girlfriend doesn't live with me.

I usually play from 8PM to 11PM.
I'm usually starting the dishwasher,
and the washer and dryer in between loading rounds.
And folding, and putting things away.

To watch me you'd think I'm a speed freak.

You'd think I'd play all weekend long on my off weekends but I don't. I hang out with the girlfriend and just lounge about. Don't get me wrong. I love the game and I love to work on my skills, but nothing's more important than family. If I'm having an excellent round and I'm working on a basic badge, and all the sudden I have a kid calling for me, well I get up to tend to the kid and blow the round most times. It's fun because I get to play with my friends most nights, but this ain't life.
I'm never going to make General, or have 500 Gold Stars, or be one of the top ranked players in the world, and I'm fine with that.

So do I win?
