The average guy will spend around 43 minutes a day eyeing-up TEN different women.

That adds up to 259 hours — almost 11 days — each year — a total of 11 months and 11 days between the ages of 18 and 50.

But researchers found that men aren't the only ones admiring the opposite sex as women sneak a peek at six fellas for just over 20 minutes a day.

That's almost six months admiring men from afar between the ages of 18 and 50.

Mark Ireland, spokesman for Kodak Lens Vision Centres, which carried out the poll, said: "Men are renowned for looking at women but it's interesting to find out exactly how long they spend eyeing girls up.

"A year of their life is a long time to spend with their eyes fixed on the opposite sex.

"However, men have their work cut out if they are going to impress a woman as they spend half the amount of time gazing at guys."

The poll of 3,000 Brits revealed the supermarket as the location for the most ogling, followed by a pub and nightclub.

During lunch, I eyed a cute, young girl at the mall food court; she was eye-ing me back. I would of hit it but could not tell if she was in her 20's or Chris Hansen was setting me up.

I have one of those counters that fat people use to count steps. Every time I see a hot chick I click it in. I also keep a stopwatch handy, so as soon as I click in the fat person step counter I start the stopwatch. One time I stared at this chick for 17 seconds. I had to stop and start every time I caught her staring at me, right until the policeman asked me what I was doing in the girl's restroom. Talk about awkward!

Lately I've been losing all social grace. Besides checking out asses and tits I've been doing other inappropriate things in public. Just this morning, while helping my friend with some work on his house I proclaimed "Look at all these fucking suits" as a man in a suit walked by. We exchanged unpleasant looks. The other night I snorted salt in a cafe in plain sight.
