My appendix needed to be removed a couple months ago. It happen after I ate a Big Mac. The Big Mac did not settle well in my stomach and for a day and a half I was miserable until I finally went to the hospital. The doctor told my I need surgery and lol'd. I believe the Big Mac was the cause but people say it was coincidental that my apprendix was inflamed and the last thing I ate was a Big Mac, but I have not been back to a McD ever since.
I might go mcdonalds tomorrow depending on what time I finish work, or I might go saturday.
do you have to travel to get there, Sam? like plan a trip?
real men eat mcdonalds for 10 days in a row like i did once though i did feel a little ill afterRed Forman wrote:

they're actually not bad, like a little fried apple tart. McD couldn't call them that, it wouldn't be patriotic then.
What is American about apple pies?burnzz wrote:

I've always wondered this too, but it's a relatively common saying over here.DrunkFace wrote:

years ago Chevrolet ran an ad campaign, trying to hook it's wagon to American-ness.
the jingle went "Baseball, hot dogs, Chevrolet and apple pie".
the campaign was fairly successful, to the point where apple pie = American-ness.
again, forgive my regionallism. . .
Huh, everything has nuggets. You can make nuggets out of everything. Even a glass bottle. Whats your point?Agent_Dung_Bomb wrote:

Yeah I hardly ever eat McDonalds, it's disgusting! When you're used to making your own meals fresh and you go to some food joint it always tastes like garbage.
checkers ftw
It may have been advertising but it wasn't Chevy. Back when prohibition was introduced it became illegal to make cider so the farmers had a shit load of excess apple so advertised them for use in pies.burnzz wrote:

In Hawaii you can get spam burgers at MacDonalds. I ate there the other night and the fries were awful. Heat lamped, stale and hideous.Red Forman wrote:
I dunno. There was a special on CNBC about MCD's in China the other night and they showed and explained this stuff.1927 wrote:

Protip: Fast food like MCD's and KFC are adjusted for the local culture. We are not eating the same food basically even though it is MCD's.
