so, atm I have an iPod Video 32 GB and an old Samsung E720.

I cba to bring both with me anymore, so I want to buy a phone that I can have my music on as well. It HAS to have a 3.5mm jack, so I don't have to use the shit ear buds that come bundled with the phone.

My old plan was to get a GOOD PMP/DAP/whatever they're called nowadays and a cheap phone, but come to think of it - I rarely, you know, listen intently to the music when I'm walking around, so the need for great sound quality isn't really there as much as when I'm sitting at home and listening to music (which is when I really notice the difference between lossless and lossy). Therefore, format support isn't that big a deal anymore to me. 320/v0 mp3 + my shure SE310s should do just fine.

Also, it cannot be an iPhone because It's fucking insanely expensive over here.

I've been looking at the Samsung Galaxy, which looks great. It's an Android phone, which to me is really interesting. It has a 3.5mm jack, integrated 8GB memory which can be upgraded to 40GB with a MicroSD card. Uses standard Micro-USB for charging/connecting to PC, so it's not some proprietary shit. Also Super-3G and a touch sensitive OLED screen. And it's damn sexy, and will be released in Norway next month. Can anyone beat that?

Also, has any tried Android? Got any experience with it?

Yes, I made a thread about this a few months ago. Things have changes, cba to bump that, edit OP, etc.

Check out the HTC Magic and the HTC Hero if you want to compare it to other Android phones.

Consider Nokia N97 too. I find mine as a great phone and can't understand why everyone seems to be telling that it is bad. it has 32GB memory that can be expanded with Micro SD card, that 3,5mm jack, USB charger, Great display and a good camera too. From what I've seen, Nokia's OVI software store has got much bigger since the release of N97 and I'd bet it will be growing fast in the future too. The touch screen and qwerty keyboard is a great combination. I have had no problems with it. I'd say only downside is that it is pretty expensive.
