Is it just me or does Europe have some awesome programming....

BBC always has the most interesting stuff, also, Top Gear is just in so many ways

Also, you guys have mild nudity on cable right?

Now I get this from youtube and anything thats uploaded to the interwebs, I have never been to Europe - The farthest east I have been would probably be the Jersey Shore/Carribean

America has what, Mythbusters and Fox news?

Really the only thing I like on TV is South Park, The History Channel, & LOST (which is starting to SUCK anyway)

America is spammed with "Reality Television" which is the same shit repackaged, I honestly think they are running out of Cities to film The Real World in...

Then all the major series are about death, murder, or rape... Like what the fuck? CSI, Numbers, Flashpoint, NCIS, Law & Order... It's all the same shit except people wear different clothes in each show

Yeah Europe was pretty quick on the whole reality TV thing. Jeopardy is US. So is Top Chef. Those are 2 great shows. Iron Chef we stole from Japan so that doesn't count.

For instance, these are all the US shows today on a Belgian TV station called 2BE:

Home and Away (Not American but an Australian soap opera, another thing which gets way too much airtime here)

The American teacher we had last semester said she felt right at home watching TV here, as it was just American shows with Dutch subtitles.

I mainly watch BBC1 and BBC2, those are the only anglophone channels we can receive (don't have digital TV or satellite dish). One thing that drives me nuts though is that obsession with programs about auctions, stuff like Flog it. Who the hell watches that?
