Then I was gonna throw in my OCZ gamextreme 600W psu and EVGA 7950 gt ko vid card.
I'm really tired right now, so I need a second opinion on if I missed anything or not.

OS is covered.

Dont know yet if he wants a sound card... that could come later.

hes got a monitor/ keyboard/ mouse. so no need for that just yet.

Except now the case is redundant. Keep your original It wouldn't match the ATI card

not at all a gaming comp though. I'm just throwing in my card cause that mobo dosent have video out.
oh and the 600 was with taxes and shipping in.

Ahh, I see. If it's not a gaming PC, then you can probably get cheaper RAM, leave the stock heatsink on and stick with your original Motherboard.

That should make it even cheaper.

And if you want it less, get a cheaper case or cheaper CPU, such as the E6-series.

My cheaper CPU offering to him will be the E5200. I want him to get the 690 cause I've wanted to do a build in it for awhile, If anything I want him to go more expexive on the case and get this: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.as … 6811112222 because I would really like to do a build in it.

I may try to sell him on one of these though.
