Hi

Just reinstalled XP (SP3) (Yeah I still use XP :p), and also WMP. Transferred all my songs/albums/etc. but I noticed WMP is not adding all my songs.

For example I have an album of the Red Hot Chili Peppers in one folder, WMP will add only 3 songs of the album to my library. However, when I browse to the folder manually and click the song, it plays without any problems.

Does anyone know what's causing this?

I get this all the time with itunes, I have to remove the ID tags on the song (google for a free program), add the song to itunes then fill in the information again. I'm guessing its the same thing for WMP

I'd show you a pic, but somehow Paint is missing.

Anyway, the tags seem quite identical (except track numer, title etc.) and I don't see any differences except the obvious between the tracks that got added and the ones that didn't..

Its like that with mine as well, the tags are just corrupted somehow and wont add to itunes. Try making a copy of one of your songs, using a tag remover and adding it to WMP. It should work
