The shooting occurred Thursday afternoon at Kaplan Brothers Blue Flame Corp. in a business district on West 125th Street. After the men entered the store, they announced a robbery and pistol-whipped one employee, police said.
From about 20 feet away, Augusto raised the shotgun and fired three blasts, hitting all four suspects, police said.

Wish I knew how the fuck to get over this crap

Sleep at night, stay awake during the day. Jet lag is for pussies and lesser mortals, you can get back on your own time in 24 hours.
This is like my first time having jet lag (well I don't remember 3-4 years ago but yeah...) anyway first night I was only able to sleep for like 4 hours then all the rest of the damn night I was awake FFS.
Now it's like sleep at 8pm wake up at 5am xD sux

Stay up for 24 hours so you're very sleepy, then go to bed at your normal hour and set your alarm for your usual wake-up time. Works damned well.Bradt3hleader wrote:

And good on the store owner for taking matters into his own hands. Had the robbers been arrested they probably would have served 10 years (2 years since it's liberal NYC) at most.

Lol. Typical. Go back to liberal WA plz. You obviously don't know what it is like to be robbed.Defiance wrote:

Makes me glad in SC you can shoot a suspicious person through your front door, if they appear to be trying to break in.
Clearly he just fucked with the wrong pole.DrunkFace wrote:

You can reduce affects of Jet lag with light therapy. If say you're going from the West Coast to the Cast coast, a few days before you keep yourself in brighter light in the evening - direct light if possible. If you're going from the East Coast to the West coast you put yourself in the dark in the evenings.Bradt3hleader wrote:

yeah I agree, he smacked someone with a gun, and robbed them, if he doesn't shoot they may get away, i believe once they show the weapon and use it with force shoot away, even if they runThe_Sniper_NM wrote:

I feel stupid for not considering that. Had they been unarmed, it would be dishonorable to him; as the situation was, however, they were behaving cowardly. But that's a tad romantic.ghettoperson wrote:

Fuck 'em.
No, Mr. Sniper, I haven't ever been robbed over here in liberal WA. I guess you hold some sort of grudge to bring political agenda in to an otherwise completely unrelated discussion. Maybe it is that relative absence of violent crime, but who am I to say; that would also be a very unrelated inclusion.The_Sniper_NM wrote:

Once they were fleeing I think the store owner had no right shooting them.
I agree with not shooting them if they're unarmed. What if the same guys come back with guns next time and shoot you for, lets say...revenge?

If someones threatening you or your friends with a gun, you should be able to fight fire with fire with no fear of punishment.
In the free states of america its called the Castle Doctrine

15 more years! 15 more years!
I do agree if someone is shooting at you/your friends you should be able to fire back. But the guys were running away. Then it turns from self defence to retaliation.

The only bit of the article that really concerns me is this:
If he does, fair enough. If not, I think he should be facing charges for it - rather than being hailled as a hero.Browne said it was unclear Thursday night if Augusto has a license for the weapon.
No, had they been unarmed they wouldn't be able to kill anyone, so shooting them would be way over the top. As for the rest of what you wrote, I'm having rather a hard time understanding it.Defiance wrote:

I'm not sure about NY, but in WI we're not required to register or have a license for our weapons. He's a hero either way. If he'd not had that weapon he and his employees could have been killed by those thugs.Bertster7 wrote:
