Again, Commanding the US on a 64 player Karkand match is the fastest way to get points IMHO.

192 IAR BEFORE the x2? Heck, the most I've ever seen a medic get is 150.
"192"... sure... you ever noticed that commanders gets more points the longer a game goes and they cant "whore" lots of points quickly like tanks/medics/resupply etc. and a full 64 karkand last about 10-13 mins making it physically impossible for a commander to have this score, so either you saw wrong, the commander cheated or your lieing to make yourself seem important. commanders usally get between 20-37 depending on the leghth of game and how good they are.
I'm honestly telling the truth. If you check my stats, my BRS is 192 points as USMC on Strike At Karkand. I was commander, and my points were doubled at the end because we won, so its actually 384 points. I'd say the round lasted around 50 mins.

The commander's score is a function of his team's score and solong as a commander knows what he's doing, his score can be insanely large. Usually, the only time the Commander does not get the best score for his team is when the person who DOES get the best score is quite a bit above the rest of the players. A better player could probably explain a little better how the function works.

As for a full 64 Karkand game only lasting 10-13 mins, I have absolutley no clue what your talking about. When I sit down to commander a full Karkand match, I make sure I've set aside 45-60 mins for the match. Even more when the server isn't completely full (I don't know if the server was completely full that day, I just know it was on the 64 player version of Karkand. If I had to guess, I would say that the number of players was in the neighborhood of 50 or so).

Really, your basing your logic off the fact that the commander is shitty. Sure, if a commander sits in a tank all game and doesn't Command, then his commander score is obviously going to not be good.

Actually, I'm going to diverge from my arguement here for a min and give a tip to new commanders, THE worst thing you can do as commander is PLAY the game instead of command. Even stuff like fixing assets yourself or with a supply crate, or killing that random spec ops guy that snuck into the uncap, HOWEVER minute it may seem, does hurt your score.

See, a commander gets no points for doing anything that would otherwise get him points. No repair points, no kill points, no resupply points, no revive points, no nothing. Now, taking that into account, and the fact that your score is an average of your team's score, then we realize, If I as commander, repair the UAV instead of Calling in an Engineer to do it, then I don't get the points. Rather they are lost forever. Whereas if the Engineer fixes it, the points are added to the total team points, thus raising my score.

Now, I'm not going to tell you that your stupid for fixing your own UAV. That really not that bad and doesn't really hurt your score. BUT, if you get in a TANK as commander, drive around and whore, then every kill you get gives you NO points and the kills could have gone to a teammate, thus giving HIM points and YOU points at the same time. In fact, when you Tank Whore as commander, the only productive thing you do is reduce the tickets of the enemy team. The same goes for a commander who runs around capping flags.

The reason DICE did this is that it FORCES us to command, if we wanna make the most of our time. When we don't Command, the only thing we really do is hurt our team.

But back to my arguement.

If your a GOOD commander, then it really doesn't matter how long the round is, you can get a really good score on a short round. I remember we recently scrimmed against a clan few weeks ago and I as as commander not only had the best score on my team each game, but my average score was around 70 points and each round was only like 15-20 mins (16 player Karkand and Sharqi 8v8).

However, you are also correct that the potential for the commander to get a better score goes up on longer matches, but this is only because longer matches offer more potential for better scores across the board, thus inflating your own. But since large scores can be obtained in a short round as well, this isn't always a true statement.

Also, your overall commander score is reflected in your ability to command, as well as the skill level of your team.

Ex. If I spot enemy soldier outside of the UAV, refrain from using artillery alot, use the Comm to coordinate my squads, and use supply crates to keep my armor and troops alive, then my team benefits from my support and intelligence, thus making their game easier, thus making it possible for them to have better scores, thus making it possible for me to have better scores. Also, the presence of a competent commander tends to pull the players together as a team, which also benefits everyone's score.

Ex. If my team doesn't listen to me, and everyone goes off and lone wolf's it, then all our scores suffer because the players aren't doing well, and thus I don't do well as commander.

your BRS is 192. that is after the X2. otherwise ur BRS would say 384! so u actually got 96 points, which were thendoubled to 192 because ur team won..

I swear to God almight that it was a 192. The x2 occurs after the round, so its not considered a round score. its just a value applied to your global score. At least thats how I've always assumed it works.

Trust me, I'm not good enough of a player to get points by whoring. The most I have ever got was around 120 or so I believe (50 kills in a round whoring the PKM on Warlord and about 20 resupplies).

You can believe me or not, Its not like I'm trying to impress anyone or whatnot. 192 isn't really that great, I've seen scores in the 250's. I'm just trying to help the guy who wanted help with his stats. Stats aren't really that important anyway. Sometimes I'll just fly a blackhawk all match on Mashtuur really high up in the sky and let my team HALO jump to the flags. I never end up getting any points when I do that, but it helps the team as a whole.

you should listen to the dozen or so people that corrected you .. when it shows your commander score at the end of the round it is the result of the x2

noone disputed your 192 ..but it was your contention that it was 384 which is wrong...simply look at your stats on the map section it says next to karkand your best round was 192 ..
