And I don't get why it doesn't get more appreciation.

Granted, no one dislikes vanilla ice cream... But its always used to describe plain. Water is plain, cheese pizza is plain... Vanilla is its own unique flavor.

Chocolate ice cream doesn't taste like Vanilla with some ingredients added. Strawberry doesn't taste like Vanilla with ingredients added... There is no hint of Vanilla taste in flavor of any other ice cream (Flavors that are Vanilla + chunks excluded)

So whats the deal? Why doesn't Vanilla get the respect it deserves as its own delicious flavor.

Vanilla bean kicks ass.

I used to work at an ice cream store when I was younger... and people would literally make fun of each other for getting Vanilla, like it wasn't a real flavor. Its just never made sense to me.

Yeah, Vanilla is good, but there are great expansions like Special Forces and the maps on Armoured Fury are amazing! And there's mods like Project Reality that I like too! But yes, Vanilla has Karkand and that is why many people like Vanilla.
