Heres what I got in my town : The Orange Peel
I'm not 21 yet.
me too D:<
Hah hah, I laugh at terrible 21 legal drinking age!
Erm... there's not too many cool ones here. The cool ones are always hard to find. Don't get me wrong there are good ones but not "cool" as such. One I found a while ago was "Alice", an "Alice in Wonderland" themed place. It's a good concept right, especially with the amount of illegal substance abuse that inspired Lewis Caroll. The entrance is kind of like a long rabbit's hole. However aside from a few Alice in Wonderland drawings on the walls and the cocktails there's really not that much to the theme. There are some really little couches I suppose. Anyway I get the feeling it could have been done a whole lot better. An Alice in Wonderland themed place really has the potential to be completely tripped-out awesome. Sadly "Alice" doesn't live up to this.
The cocktails there are great though.
I'm told Melbourne has some awesome places.

the Merlin - http://www.themerlin.co.uk/index.htm
very nice on a sunny day to sit outside, and caters for rather large and awesome groups.

again very nice to sit outside when it's sunny, prefer the inside of the merlin though.

Agreed but again, the cocktails are awesome. They always have one page of cocktails in their menu that they have a two for one deal on and eventually they forget which page that was so just make it two for one everything.SEREMAKER wrote:

Amsterdam has many, many bars, however very few good ones. Twenty Third Bar is certainly up there, and it's got a hell of a view. It's in the Hotel Okura, where there also happens to be a two Michelin starred restaurant should you happen to get hungry, although a meal plus wine for two will run you up about 200 euros.

On a slightly cheaper note, I quite enjoy hanging out in the terrase on Leidseplein. Plenty of seating and a reasonable selection of drinks compared to some bars. Plus no walking to anywhere required.
