ok i am not having a go here and do not want to argue with anyone - i am just curious............

i dont normally care about anyone elses stats etc i just like to have fun play with my fellow soldiers etc etc

this post is regarding players like -=RD=-Volx and {TA}FireStorm....

The facts: out of 2200 hours firestorm has played over 2000 hours on strike at karkand (91%).
out of 1080 hours rd=volx has played 1004 hours on strike at karkand (93%).

In my opinion this is absolutley insane! however my question is...do u not get bored? do u still get excited by the game?
im sure there are other people out there who are similiar?

I am slightly similiar in that i love sharqi and play that maybe 60% of the time - but i still quite often play other maps and also special forces...

surely u can see what i am on about? 2000 hours on strike? thats like 84 days LOL nearly 3 solid MONTHS!!!!!

Why do i care? i see this as an abnormality!!!!!!!!!!!!! it would be cool to hear from Volx or Firestorm........

I couldn't do that amount of time on Karkand even though on my stats it's way ahead my most played map. I've used Kakrand to get most my awards, wether that Explosives, Sniper, Armour, using Commander to get awards whatever.

I like to play and learn I reckon by now those fella's know everything there is to know about Karkand, twice over. However, surely no 2 rounds can be the same on any one map?

Sometimes i like to think these accounts with 2000 hrs played, are used by a "band of brothers".
Well, maybe the boy nextdoor jumps in to help them out, if they have to school/work/sleep.

So, when you play with Volx or Firestorm, you could ask :
"Hey Volx/Firestorm, is that you Mark, or is it John now, or Timmy from nextdoor" ?

I hate to say it, but i think i may have got bored of the whole game now

not played it in a few days and havnt missed it. been finding other things to do.

do you think maybe i am i sick? maybe i have a fever or something and that is why i am bored of it?

Karkalano is one of my least favorites at the moment. When the rotation gets to Karkamel I just want to vomit all over my keyboard.... then I get over it.

I think that obviously since they have so much time on that map, they must enjoy it. And like someone said above, once you've played it so many times, you can expect to know exactly how the round is going to unfold. You could do things to change the tide. Other reasons why Karkapoo is such a favorite map is that the absence of air assets takes away that uncertainity from the round. You can control your environment better. But all of this is nothing new and has been repeated ad nauseum.

Nah not feeling down because of Celtic winning the league, it was always going to happen this season with the bad start the Gers had.

hopefully next season under Le Guen things will change, and maybe we will have a repeat of the success we had in Europe.

i dont see how you would get tired of a map jus because you played it over 2000 hours. cause everytime you play that map you more than likely play with different people who have different strategies and different tactics. so even if the map is the same the people you are playing with arent and i think that is why some people dont get bored of it.

on the same map, and on the same server - so probably a lot of the people are the same too!!!!!

I like Karkand (as you can see by my stats), but i do get bored sometimes. When i get bored, ill go play somewhere else or another game and then ill have the urge to play karky again. I just like the in your face, non-stop action i guess.

I play on Karakookookachoo every so often, I usually prefer maps with little to no fog like Wake however. Mostly because I spend the majority of my time as a sniper.

When a map like Karkand comes around i'll be a medic or spec ops typically. Got my knife badges on karkand as a medic.
