The coolest I've been to is a place called Vertigo London, it's in 1 Leicester Square.

It's at the top of this tall building which overlooks almost all of London, so it's at New Years...

It's crazy that I can't find many good photos considering how good the view is when you're up there.

These are the best I could find but it looks way better in person.

That was a dumb idea, everyone associates the name "Penthouse" with porn.

Wait... maybe it's a good idea then.

Amsterdam has many, many bars, however very few good ones. Twenty Third Bar is certainly up there, and it's got a hell of a view. It's in the Hotel Okura, where there also happens to be a two Michelin starred restaurant should you happen to get hungry, although a meal plus wine for two will run you up about 200 euros.

On a slightly cheaper note, I quite enjoy hanging out in the terrase on Leidseplein. Plenty of seating and a reasonable selection of drinks compared to some bars. Plus no walking to anywhere required.

Ever been at Absinthe Bar? Nice cellar place. http://www.absinthe.nl/

Oh, and our "coolest" bar in Helsinki is Lady Moon (I'm prolly gonna get my ass kicked for saying this..). It's small, hot, cheap on liquor prices and it's infested with horny women every single night. If I still was single, I'd be doing the milf hunting in there Age limit is 24, so no nightlife nubs are allowed. But if you're not Finnish, look good and have the smooth talker perk, go ahead and try to get in to get your bed warmer for the night

I've never been myself, I've seen the absinthe store though, is it in the same place? Their description of the locations makes it sound like it is.

Hey ghetto, I also recall going to a club built in an old big warehouse where you had to change your money into plastic coins. I managed to be there for an hour when it opened and then I just had to gtfo. Couldn't stand to play around with them coins. But anyhoo do you have any idea what place I'm talking about? Then I tried to get in to a club but some peckerhead outside said it's sold out when it apparently wasn't. I read from a paper the next day that Paul van Dyk was doing his DJ'ing there. I got mad.

Haha, yeah the store is fucking cool man. There's about a billion different kinds of absinthe, and then loads of cool glasses to drink it from, and it's all in this awesome really old, dark and dusty room.

Oh, hell. I find myself scoping cheap flights again...

Hey btw, when does your footie season start or did it start already? If I wanna go, should I get tickets to an Ajax game in advance or are they sold out usually?

Shooters, which is right on the river in cleveland.  between all the boats docking at the outside boardwalk/bar, the huge stage, and the actually good food (its restaurant by day, bar by night), this place is the only bar worth going to.

I would say either Fabric, for being right on the money for huge-scale electronic clubnights, or, at the other end of the spectrum, someplace you can go with the yacht club faggots to drink port- like the East India Gentleman's Club.

Been there! 'Traditional' is the word.

And no, Sup, we don't like corny tacky things. Over here in England, we have this thing called heritage and tradition - you know, inns and public houses that are actually old, not imitation. You wouldn't understand; you belong to that group of countries that date their architecture back to the concrete-era of the Soviet bloc, haha, 'culture'.
