Sam Adams has a few good random seasonals, but the fact that you guys think American beer is shit... they change your mind after a bottle of crap like boston lager is kinda funny.
whoa, whoa, there - if'n your refering to krappy's post about liquors and such - i'm not a bandwagon jumper. i like
beer, and i like Sam a bit better than others. here we have to go to a state run store, with banker's hours, to get anything better than PBR. or Lite. or Coors.
not everyone bashed American brands, and someone even posted that they liked one of 'em.
so mr. connesuer, what would
you recommend someone visiting from out of country?
I was not referring to anyone's post...
Just saying its funny that people saying "America makes crap beer" would then drink a crap beer and claim redemption.
What would I recommend? I guess I am supposed to choose American beers here?
New Belgium Brewing beers are a choice, as mentioned fat tire, 1554... I am not a fan of their mothership wit, but maybe that's just me..
Stone tends to do things right, I don't normally go for IPAs, but their Arrogant Bastard is definitely good if you don't drink girl beers.
Brother Thelonious is amazing, but could be considered expensive and can be semi hard to find... Not sure who makes it...
Rouge Breweries is another good one, not too hard to find though more expensive then budwiser
I am a big fan of their dead guy ale, but I remember their Irish lager being good too.
Lost coast Breweries, I like their downtown brown and great white ale
Not sure what other beers I drink are American, TBH... I don't much pay attention to where its from when I buy.
