Honestly, I don't see how having IE installed hurts anything. You're just being ridiculous. We are all well aware that it is a shitty browser, but get over yourself.

If you don't want it that's fine, but for all the other users that get fucked because of that bullshit lawsuit is a shame.

You can still install it through Windows Updates, it just doesn't come preinstalled. Although looking at Amazon, they say right now it still comes installed.

What if, what if, what if. I have multiple flash drives and a dedicated partition, updated whenever I update current drivers, to solve those what ifs.

It's a computer. 'Backing up' is a very basic practice.

But it's rarely done by the majority of PC users.

What I don't get about this, is how the Windows Update website will work. Anyone who goes there will know you can only use an IE browser to access it.

It's stupid with it not being pre-installed.
