I need new headphones.  I was wearing my old Sony MDR-D777s and working on my laptop when I got my foot caught in the wire and yanked them off my head, completely seperating the left earpiece from the headband. (Pics later) So now I need suggestions of headphones for $50 and under, 60 might be able to be worked out, that work well.

I'd get these. Though I suppose they're a bit out of your budget.

I guess the only advice I can give is don't go for cheap logitechs.

I have these and I'm pretty happy with them except that the boom mic goes flaccid:

Sennheiser EH-150s are cheap. I got them for $25 on New Egg when they were marked down by 50%.

Creative Fatality headphones are good, too. I like them for gaming. Best part is, they're cheap!

the siberias are right at the $60 price point.  buy.com has the cheapest price usually.
