Next week Ive got QCS, which is basically a HUEG test for everyone in grade 12, which ranks the schools in the state with each other to determine their OP. Dunno what the hell the equivalent is in the US.
So, in a few weeks when term 3 finishes, it'll pretty much be cruisy from there. Term 4 only lasts about 6 weeks, and the last 2 weeks are just sitting back, talking to everyone and saying goodbyes. This year has been full of great times with friends.

Today seemed O.K. I guess. That little sick feeling I get every year of high school hasn't quite hit me yet if it ever does. My two A-day classes kinda blow but working with the tech guy and getting paid for for the other half of the day is always pretty awesome even if I can't start getting paid till the 15th of September, I'll always be ahead of the clock as far as hours go.
As far as +'s go, the teachers definitely seem a lot friendlier than they have the previous years. This is especially surprising since I would think that they would be extremely bitter on the first day of school. One teacher that I thought hated me because I'm so unintentionally sarcastic(or at least was) bought me lunch while I figured out what was wrong with her stuff. Another teacher whom I've had in the past was also particular friendly and talkative while I was bringing him an S-video cable for his projector to go into his writing screen thing. Even though I've always been doing shit for them, teachers were usually never all that grateful and friendly. Hell, one of the administrators who's known for being an aspergers asshole even said hi to me and all I've ever done for him was get him a replacement monitor a few weeks ago.
I saw that girl I was obsessing over and I just walked faster through the crowd and pretended I never saw her. Wonder how she's gonna affect me this year if she does.

I hate to sound like an asshole but if you don't take the initiative now then you never will. What benefit do you receive by putting off changing yourself? It's a big change yes, but it's for the better.

Well, basically I met her because she sat behind me in class two years ago and I didn't really know how attached to her I was until the teacher moved me, and I know it's pathetic but I was trying really hard not to cry when that happened. That was the first and I think primary blow to everything. Then of course we only had one class together this past year and she didn't sit near me and I was a wreck on the rare occasion that I got enough courage to walk over and talk to her: stuttering, flirting at the wrong time, talking about shit she wasn't interested in anymore, you name it I did it. Not to mention she developed had this shallow bullshit image she decided she had to keep up this past year that I didn't fit very well into. The separation was brought on by fate I suppose. I shouldn't have tried to fight it but it felt like she was the closest thing I ever had and I was grasping on for dear life.

Senior year is pretty good, I din't find it any better than my junior year. Mostly because I never put in any work and pretty much did the same shit as I did in my junior year. My junior year was the year I got laid for the first time.
Really dude, just loosen up. In my 6th 7th and 8th grades I was part of the really popular kids, you know how it is in middle school where the social ladder is even more staggered. Anyways I broke up with my first girlfriend in 9th grade and I got seriously depressed and started losing all my friends and going to forums such as this one. Eventually that subsided after I went on a camping trip and found a new set of friends. But the time in between I was like you and all it took was for me to find some new people who didn't really know who I was so I could break out of my little depressed shell I made for myself.
One other important thing, just talk, get yourself recognized and you will eventually get people who will start conversations with you. Thats all you gotta do is talk and your life will be 10 x better. I didn't talk when I was depressed and everyone thought I had no personality, no humor no nothing and they never connected to me. But once you start talking with people, even if they don't find it very interesting will at least realize you have a personality and can connect with you a little bit. When you are as shy as you are I know how hard it is to just go up to someone and strike up a conversation but you gotta do it or you will go no where.

I'm going into my last year of secondary school too. Frankly, I'm looking forward to it. I'm gonna be studying my ass off and be stressed out as hell but so will everybody else in my class. I guess that's why people make so much more friends, you kinda have a feeling that your all in this huge crisis together.
