Yeah, LN2 cooling is pretty hardcore but what about building a house around your PC cooling? /hyperbole

Maintenance will be a bitch, and we all know how often PC components and peripherals break down...

I would be more impressed to see the forethought he has put into the procedures to empty the system, change a pump, etc.

seems like way to much work for the benefits, may as well just get a TEC cooling system.

Edit: if you want to see a really cool water cooling project, check out the case this guy is designing:

And some builds in it on the last page:

Some supercomputer was cooled by using the heat to warm the water in local swimming pool.

Its just copper tubing.... everything else is in the house. Copper tubing running through the innards of a house is nothing out of the ordinary.  He is building the house him self and is knowledgeable enough to figure out the required head, and take steps to prevent galvanic corrosion.... He seems to know what he is doing and has a handle on it.

I am just saying that this is the easy part in the equation. Obviously the forethought it massive, but I will be more interested to read about the application in the future.

Flaming, Nic, what are you guys talking about?

At this point, all he's done is bend some tube. There's lots of discussion on the details within the thread.

one of my mums supercomputers was the size of a large room, encased in something with a permanent waterfall going over the casing. they had it as a sort of water feature in the lobby.
