So im playing Crysis on my 9800GTX+ newest driver and after about 5 minutes of play i get this error.

nvlddmkm.sys has stopped responing but fixed itself but crysis crashes.
It's not a heating issue because when it happens gpu-z is only giving me a temp of 66 degrees and thats not hot enough to crash a video card.
I've tried everything and looked everywhere but to no avail.
If anyone has had this issue and fixed it please post and help

Do you have the latest drivers for your 9800GTX+?

190.62 is the latest.

yeah and i think i fixed it by using some trick some guy posted.

Basically i had to reupdate it but from the actually nvidia driver folder and it seems to have worked.

I get this same problem time from time in several games...I use to get it every time I played a game, my fix was switching my GFX to the other PCI-E slot.  While I still get the error, it's far less than I use to get it.

Otherwise, you just sort of have to deal with it.  (At least for me, I tried looking for fixes too (ranging from beta to modified drivers and such) and nothing really helped.)
