[Xbox 360] HDD question

So I have a 360 premium with a 20 GB HDD.

The HDD screen tells me that 13.3 GB aren't used, my saves, profiles etc only need 58 MB though.
So does the 360 system really need that much space?

Or buy a 120GB HDD for 100€, wayyy too expensive.

Yeah I've always wondered why my 20Gb hard drive only has 13Gb free as well.

Notice that neither the Core and Arcade versions needed a 6Gb install. It sucks that we can nearly only use half our already small hard drive.
