After 2 months playing in 16 man servers I finally did it. I am ready to start playing to have fun and not winning. This was without a doubt a gruelling task. When I started I needed 300 wins. It almost felt like going to work trying to get this.

But its all done and here is my new background for the next couple weeks.

you know, its funny...i did the exact same thing with the 16 player servers and all...and after i got my WCR, i thought i wouldnt care about losing...

...but i still find myself upset and disappointed when my team loses. stupid WCR changed my whole mentality about BF2.

Grats. I was tempted to restart when I found out about the WCR but oh well. I'll get it in what, another 2,000 days?

i've only got 10hrs commanding, i just can't stand it. i've got the W:L but 40hrs is going to take forever.
i get bored so quick, i like shooting people not dropping arty from a safe distance away.

Congrats! I know what you mean about mentality changing...When I first started playing I used to switch to the losing side in order to pit myself against stiffer odds and players...and endded up digging myself a hole when it comes to this ribbon. I just got to 1.5 W/L...only 1400 wins to go (without a loss).

That's the same reason I've been waiting to get my Distinguished Service medal for so long. Commanding is boring, and everyone gets pissed if you actually play as commander, even if you're doing your job.

yeah kinda the same here. I played very often sniper to get superB K/D ratio's and now whenever i have a bad K/D I get kinda upset.... lol

Thomas morgan just to let you know that after a day of playin I am happy to say that I could care less about winning anymore. I would rather not lose but Im not finding myself upset when I lose.

Your giving up? Hey i was 1000+ wins away from getting it at the end of last year i am already half way now. But you also need to add some more wins into it, an extra 500 because, you will end up also getting losses.

I started going for the WCR when my W/L was 750 / 500 (1.5) ish.
After 2 months or so I'm up to 2,382 / 1,017 (2.34). You can follow my progress as I frequently update my sig. I still got a shitload to go.
