is it possible to have custom sounds and bf2 and still be able to play online without trouble? it would be nice, i want to use project reality sounds in bf2

someone told me that if i do this i can get banned or something, which i personally think is dumb if i just want to use custom sounds.

you are not allowed to change your sounds. having different sound files can give you an advantage over someone else.

certain sound files cause less lag, like in total annihilation if you brought 100 flash tanks into a base they would get lagged to death if they had a slow computer that couldn't keep up wiith all the shots, of course some people like using lag to their advantage.

we used to do that in DC
bocage + 100 mortars=server @ 1fps
