It's not nearly as strong as it was, but those guns can once again rack up the kills quite nicely.

How hard is it to kill people with the new gun?
The splash damage is at 1.5 now, does anyone remember what it was at before 1.2

After some research...
The minigun splash damage was at 3 before patch 1.2. It was set to .25 after that, and is now at 1.5
So, its half as good as it use to be and way up from the pea shooter it has been for the last 2 years.

You gotta spray it for a bit to get a kill, if you're flying low and slow it's absolutely devastating, but if you're to high or fast you'll probably hit nothing. The guns make it easy to clear out a landing area and support ground forces, but the UH-60 is not the main offensive tool that it was.LT.Victim wrote:

It used to be nothing more than a transport helicopter. Glad they have changed it, I'll bet wake will play totally different.

Theres been a couple of times on 1.41 where I'm on china dragon valley and spawn on river villiage and the US have a squad in blackhawk flying round the hills above river village it can be quite effective with a good pilot and gunners, must be quite scary now lol
