For veteran I suggest you to play on very crowded 64 player karkand 24/7 server and be as mec. Then just plant claymores everywhere near the hotel flag. Throw them to places where usmc walks through.
Ya hacial's hint is the best and if you get on a game where MEC resist alot i think you'll be able to get expert easily.
If the US got hotel spawn at square and put claymores in the narrow corridor where every1 goes to cap square.

i just use AT mines on Karky. pretty easy, u just need to know how the opponents in the vehicles r thinking.
go around and jihid ppl thats how i got it also look for servers that dont have team damage that way u cant kill urself. but the vehicle explosion can so watch out=)

I get my explosives badge in the time you can throw your c4's at people. I just maked a new account and i want to try to get my explosive badge. So I took spec. ops. After the round i had more deaths as kills what is very unlikely for me. So next round i tried Sniper. I just runned in karkand to the first flag. and leaving claymores behind. Also : when a enemy saw me. I started jumping and throwed a clay before his head. When he starts moving. BOOM. very funny. But it is a weak tactic, But you've got your badge. ( i know my english sux.)
i used the tatic of the tv towers, place then on the foyer, and the stairs, you will need a resupply guy with you so if you have and game buddies ask then to go resuply, i got all my kills in one round well easy, when it came for me to resuply, my buddy got 70+ kills just using claymores, LAME BUT EASY
one word - Claymore.
