BF2 1.5 crahes immediately every single time upon joining a server!!!!

I just installed BF2 1.5. I tried joining over a dozen public servers, but after I join the game, BF2 crashes into windows vista desktop within a few seconds with no error message. I spent all goddamn night downloading this patch, and now I can't even fucking play it! What the fuck am I doing wrong? Single player works fine though...

Should I email EA/DICE and complain about this?

you could try updating punkbuster manually...

and do you have a firewall that wont allow punkbuster a and punkpuster b access the internet?

How do I do this? How come I didn't have this problem with the previous patch? What the hell is going on? How do I allow my firewall to unblock punkbuster?

Nevermind, I updated punkbuster to it's latest version and everything works fine. I apologize for my over reacting. Blue Pearl is an awesome map!
