Also, the average mean KDR is probably around 1.5 what with all the revving. I was simply saying that most of the people who post on forums have dedicated a lot of time to BF2, so those who have a low KD can still give their opinion.

Also; believe it or not, when something is changed - everyone has the same thing, it's not like the nerf is put on you and no one else. If you've spent your whole game learning how to instant prone quickly and you're happy with it - go ahead. If you've spent your whole life learning how to use cover - go ahead. You've both been nerfed - play the game another way.

See, that's the thing, if you were actually just having fun you'd accept a loss as a loss. you wouldn't be whining about 'them prone spammers' in the first place because you'd just be having fun. Obviously you care so much about losing that you need something convenient to blame but yet you refuse to realize that anybody who plays a game consistently for a while will get good at it if they're just a little bit honest with themselves.

All in all - They've fucked up IO, and made conquest more balanced/enjoyable on the original vanilla maps.

So atleast, the prone delay did something right. It actually made Battlefield...Battlefield again!

If I remember correctly, Sarge (lucien) was a kick-ass pilot. He owned me many-a-time back when I was learning to fly. I actually spec'd him once for a round of TV2 - Kubra, he was going like 68-0 and he said in the chat: "The most dangerous things in BF2 are the UAVs, then Supply Drops, then Artillery, the enemy comes somewhere along the list beside rubber ducky's".

It's strange that that stuck in my head, but it's fucking pro xD

Medpacks kinda help on the pop-up-behind-covers and a simple .con tweak helps some on the rest of it (proning as the last resort in cqc when evading bullets). Doesn't bother me much now.

As for patch: it's hard to adapt (even though I havent pronespammed much since I played a lot of 2142), but it's for good. It slows down the game, but now stupid pronespammer wont get an easy win (which was rare anyway, but annoying).

Well if you had read other forums besides BF2 you would know who actually wanted the patch.

1: people who got owned by J10 (justified moaning)
2: people who complained over bunny hopping, proning, dolphin diving aka noobs (unjustified)
etc

If Dice hadn't made that patch less people would buy their newer games as less patches would be expected. They had to comply what the moaners demanded since they represent most of the BF2 gaming population and less happy people means less money for DICE and EA.

Free booster packs are a welcomed award for a player that had to tolerate all those half made patches through the years.
