It feels like even though I nailed someone in the head with my M95, their body stays there for 15 seconds instead of disappearing like it would if they were actually killed. So do headshots stop people from being revived?

You are "Dead Dead" only after your hit points reach a ceratinnegative level. Dunno what that level is, but I know I've been revicvd after a Headshot before. Heck, I've been revided after stepping on a CLaymore before.... Thats certainly as disasturous as getting shot in the head..... THe wonders of a Defibulator.... Heals bullet wounds, Re-attaches Limbs, and in a Pinch can save you from a Heart attack.
A Medic should actually have to Work ona guy to get him back up..... THis Shocking Limbs back in place thing is kinda silly....

Dude if I want to play this game I shouldn't have to do a fucking medical degree.Impaqt wrote:

Just like you need a real experience defusing bombs to play Counterstrike? I'm just saying it should take a few seconds to get someone up from getting discombobulated by a clamore... Thats all....Milk.org wrote:

I agree, if any of you every played Americas Army. You had to go through literally about an hour of medical bullshit for tournicates and stopping bleeding and all this shit. THEN take a test and MUST pass or go through ALL the training again! it pissed me off! anyone who played that game feels my pain!
Sure to a certain aspect it would be cool. but.... naw. not yet.

That was hard. Four classes.. I actually took notes in a notebook so I could pass.Junior_Mud wrote:

The Special Forces tests were hard too.
I've revived people who been thrown 200ft up from artillery. I was amazed it worked. Same goes for C4. Sometimes the bodies disappear, but sometimes they have the timer on.
haha, I didn't think anyone else in the world was as Sad as me... ! Right on! I did the same for the special forces exam too.CrazeD wrote:

You might notice that whenever you revive somebody that you use one medpac as well.Impaqt wrote:

sometimes with M95 when you shoot some1 like dead in the face they are "killed" and can not be revived.
I've survied (i.e., only been critically wounded) from the following: direct arty hits, claymore blast radius, C4 packs >1 foot away, accidentally pressing 8 instead of 9 when jumping off the crane at Sharqi Peninsula, sniper rifle headshots.
These things sometimes kill me but sometimes only critically wound me.
On the other hand I've been flat-out KILLED by PP-19s, 92FSs, M4s...though usually it's just a critically wounded.
I think it must be partially a "damage counter" that kills you after your body takes enough abuse, but there have to be other factors too, otherwise an L85 wouldn't kill me the same amount as, say, arty strikes do.

lolol, i did the same thing in AA when i was going for my tests. It pays off when you get like 30 honor points for it. But aside from that i dont think a hs makes you unrevivable.
Yes then all you do is hold down a button on the keyboard for the actual "medical procudere". Awesome.Junior_Mud wrote:

I think headshots in Special Forces are unrevivable.
That may account for me not being able to revive someone until after the second or third try. I may have used up all my med packs and just waiting for another med pack to "reload"._j5689_ wrote:
