On that note, I've never been to Africa. I've never crossed the Atlantic (or Pacific). Just south... very south.

Been Cairo, and gone about as far south as Giza. That's about it. Most of Africa is messed up in some sort of way. Even countries that weren't as messsed up like Kenya have had their recent troubles. It's not really worth it. Especially not South Africa, the amount of crime that goes on there, I'm not going to be some douche idiot tourist who gets holed up by a bunch of fucking RUF wankers in their Toyota pickup trucks or whatever
