Season 5 starts Thursday. I've only recently started watching this series and I gotta say . Don't let the CW label turn you away. I was skeptical at first too.

A prequel comic book, Supernatural: Origins, detailing the early lives of John, Sam, and Dean and how they became hunters has been published by Wildstorm, a company under the DC Comics umbrella. It began publication in May 2007. A second comic book began publication in April 2008 called Supernatural: Rising Son, also published by Wildstorm.
