I just looked up and found the name of this game that is a FPS/RTS I saw a few years back:

Savage 2 = 1 RTS Commander(Human) + FPS Units(Human) vs 1 RTS Commander(Human) + FPS Units(Human)
Battleswarm = RTS Commanders(Human) + Units(CPU) vs FPS Units(Human)
Edit: Also, commander can't build in Battleswarm. Only summon.

After playing, a better description would probably just be 2 people playing a RTS vs 6 people playing a FPS. It's decent but I still think Savage 2 is a better game in comparison.
i rmember there was a fps game taht was also an rts, like you would mange a squad in rts and then you would swtich to fps and fight as an individual soldier.

Rise & Fall: Civilizations at War? You don't go fps, but you do go from RTS view to being a hero in 3rd-person.

Sonder that game was great. But that isnt what a FPS/RTS hybrid is. Thats just a squad based RTS where you have lots of control over your units. An FPS/RTS hybrid has first person aspects, ie you can control units in first person mode. I don't remember heroes of WWII having any FPS control.
Yea I kinda figured that out in retrospect. lol. Isnt there some new game coming out that is an FPS/RTS hybrid?

I just meant you can't control them in first-person. You can tell them were to go and when to attack but you give the command and they follow their orders. It is exactly like SC/WC.=NHB=Shadow wrote:
