Just a little heads up, I read about this on Kotaku. It's D2D's 5th anniversary and they're having a big sale. Each week they're making more games $5. I've never used D2D before but that might change in the coming weeks. At the moment the selection isn't that big but it's got some pretty good games in it. I want Sid Meier's Railroads .

Here's this weeks pickings:

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena
BioShock
Saints Row 2
Sid Meier's Pirates!
STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl
Frontlines: Fuel of War
Thief: Deadly Shadows
Serious Sam Gold
Max Payne 2
MLB 2K9
Note there are more games below them in the 'still avaliable' section.

Awesome news for all those living in North America.

Pretty much pointless for the rest of us. I honestly don't see why D2D couldn't allow sales of all games outside NA but what do i know.

Still i might pick up the X-Com complete bundle.

direct2drive sucks balls.  i bought one game from them and it was a fucking disaster.  their licensing system is horrible.  basically, if you ever want to reinstall your OS, you're going to have to pay for the game again.  their customer support is complete fail, no one speaks english, and they don't even know what a computer is.  stay away!!!
