Is 1.5 a stand-alone patch, or do you need to be running 1.4 then install 1.5? I got a friend who's trying to install BF2 again and we're not sure?

Cdkey cannot be changed anymore in 1.5? I'm trying to locate teh registry file and its not there. Anybody shed some light on this?

Wasn't there an easier way to change your CD key other than the registry method? I did make a thread a while ago about it and all the info was in there, will try and find it.

BF2 has its own CD key changer, just look it up in the install folder
yep i checked it out. we got things workin. turned out i was using his cd key thts why he got the error when joinin me, so i changed mine back to the key i originally have. Still banned from a few servers i liked, but no biggie.

The new installation order is this:
BF2 > SF > 1.41 > 1.50
And yes, BF2 (as well as SF) have their own CD key changer tools in the respective "support" sub-folders.
Be aware that the current key is erased as soon as you run the executables.
