I just exited an Operation Blue Pearl map after about an hour long round. I went into BF2HQ and saw that my stats were completely wiped. I restarted my computer, booted BF2 back up, and I cannot log into my account. It say's something along the lines of "account database error."
Just yesterday, I was playing on a Strike at Karkand I/O server, and was ripping shit up and pwning everyone with the RPK. Some nub bitched and moaned that I was cheating, which I was not. He said I was using "spread hack," which I have no idea what that is. Is it possible that my account was reported to be cheating, and EA/DICE was notified, and then wiped my stats? I am running the latest version of punkbuster, which I downloaded from evenbalance.com, I have not ever, nor ever will use any kind of illegal third-party cheating software in Battlefield 2.
Could this simply be a glitch with the account system? Should I wait a few hours or so and then try again? Has this ever happened to you? Should I email EA/DICE and ask them what could be wrong?
