Its a NEW business that Deals with Costume Jewellery (like halloween etc)

Promotion are a good way of getting people through the door. Once people are in the store it would be up to you sell them your stuff.

Online presence. Gather a database of potential customers and start an email campaign. It's more effective than you might think and it is cost effiecient. The leads have got to be good though. Have a website you can direct them to.

Print advertising, especially if the business is seasonal.

Networking, getting your name out there. Visit your local Chamber of Commerce, mingle.

I think the normal way that costume jewelry is sold around here is via tupperware parties etc. Just gotta get your name out there.

Actually, if you can crap out a couple of kids PTA meetings and other events like church functions are also ways of networking. Leave your card everywhere.
