Now I don't expect you to look at all of them, but just look how beautiful this game really is. This isn't even it on maximum graphics, I'm on Very High, as apposed to Ultra high, with 4xAA instead of 8.

I was going to post this in the Screenshots thread but I think this is worthy of its own thread.

The people who thought this game was beautiful were those who never got to experience Crysis on high end settings. I remember before this came out it was supposed to be the first game to rival Crysis' level of detail. Needless to say I was very disappointed.

I played Crysis on very high before I played FC2. I much prefer FC2.

Even on my shitty PC it was a beatufil game with really great optimized graphics. Too bad that gameplay sucked. As does replayability - tried to complete the game once more, uninstalled before I finished chapter1.

The last, second to last and second are faked. I have Crysis, run it @ very-high along with 4x AA and it looks no way near that. Crytek has failed to AA the foliage in Crysis.. Along with some other points that become obvious when you play the game on a capable rig, like mine.

In all honesty, Far Cry 2 has a better range definition and overall detail, Crysis is a soup of effects with med-high textures. Thats my visual opinion though.
