There's something a bit strange about ramming coins into the top of a guide dog's head.
it wouldnt be too odd for a vet to operate on a dog and find it stuffed with pennys, you can just imagine little Jeremy force feeding granny's poodle loose change.

My state was founded by Batman. Your opinion is invalid.
I have like almost 100 euroes in just 2,1, 0.50 euroes.
it is indeed surprising how much money you can have in coins.

I suppose I could use those machines, but the % that they scrape off is usually too large. I'd rather count it manually and go to a bank. Maybe one day.

Well then technically savings accounts are illegal. I mean, when you think of it like that.ghettoperson wrote:
Presumably it's to do with it raising the value of the pound because you're taking it out of circulation. Think about it, if the 65 million people in the UK each had 10 pounds in change kept somewhere, that's 650 million pounds not doing anything. That's probably not enough to actually change (geddit?) anything, but I'm assuming that's the principle the law was founded on.
Large sums of coins are put into circulation everyday by the royal mint as well as removed. The law is a stupid one that would never hold up in court if charged for it. It's classed as a "Violation of the law" and not "Breaching the law". Therefore a slap on the wrist, not even a misdemeanor.ghettoperson wrote:

I remember after I got my first car, whenever I used to fill up with gas, I usually paid in cash. Then whatever change was leftover, I just chucked in the center console. Same thing whenever I bought something with cash, I just put the coins in the center console. After about a year and a half of that, I had about $75 in random change. Not too bad. That didn't include all the $1 bills that I had also collecting in their from tips from work (grocery store) that I used to pay for lunches at work and such.WTF? Explanation is required.1927 wrote:
