Thats going to be fun fitting in cases. :S

notice the PCB is shorter than reference card. So yes it will be pretty fun to fit in the case.

Not really. I can still get HD4 reference cards for 40€ cheaper than TOXIC cards. They are both overclocked and have better cooler so it would be ridiculous if Sapphire sold them cheaper than reference cards.

Those are some impressive benchmarks! I think I'll buy one 5870 now and another one later assuming nVidia doesn't do anything better by then

I must admit I am very close buying ASUS HD 5870 and a case. And go CF when the price drops to 200€.

Do it. In my opinion, half the fun is getting stuff on release and reveling in the newness.

yes. the X2 has slightly lower clocks and has half the bandwidth / GPU.

But the X2 supposedly will be a bit cheaper than CF.

Actually NVIDIA is starting to open its chest of GT300 info. They said launch is very likely end of November, the Yields are fine and the design is completely new (biggest change since G80).

There is a lot talk in AMD side too to counter GT300 with HD 5850 X2, HD 5870 X2 and even faster single core aka HD 5890.

Very much so.  Not that it matters to 99.999% of people but, I wonder, if the GT300 is going to suffer from having to run x8 (cards 2 and 3) in Tri SLI.

It hurts performance of HD 5870 a bit so I think its gonna hurt a little the GT300 too.

Can't really say it has any real difference. 2% or so lol.
