I broke my own personal rule to never intentionaly spawn camp/base rape. I've never done it till today intentionaly. I got so pissed cause they were doing it that I did it the next round. I fell kind of dirty.

Nah I don't really feel bad about it. I just thought a topic change was good for these forums cause all I have been seening was about cheating/hacks/gliches/statpadding. And besides they had it coming to them for what they did to me last round 20 deaths and 7 kills. > And no they had all the flags I just did it anyways.(I was USMC)
Spawn killing is hilarious. Driving down to the beach on Sharq from the Hotel and parking in front of their heli is too funny. Not for them I'd imagine, but oh well....

Mabey my definition of base raping should be explained. See, I don't like it when they are base raping while no one on their team is even attempting to capture a flag or anything really constructive for the matter. See if they acually used base raping for other purposes than getting points then I would not get so mad. Thats why I really want to start playing in clans and in clan matches to avoid points all together.
main reason why i tend to spawn camp on karky is cuz im trying to buy some time for teammates to make it up to my position since i typically am stupid and get ahead of everyone else lol.
besides, am i supposed to stand around and either hide until someone uav kills me or let them shoot first once they spawn, especially against pkms?
another reason is if im squad leader, ill let my guys spawn on me since im near the base and im buying time for them to take the flag, ill play mec on karky a lot too and people will do the same thing at hotel, and its actually pretty easy to get outta the way before they kill u, then nade them
lastly, since a lot of people do it including me, i have changed tactics to guard key pathways to get to those locations, and since a lot of people tend to go through one pathway like in the alleyway, i tend to get a lot of kills.

I do feel bad for the newer players in these situations though. A veteran player will realize the situation is hopeless (Ghost Town), and bail out of the server. The newer guys hold on to that ray of hope that someone will break free of the iron wall of tanks, helis, jets, etc.
I know points in BF2 are as valuable as gold in WoW, but maybe leaving the server won't be as bad as staying and gettin your K/D raio blasted to hell.

I joined a large map server today, got put on MEC, my team had no flags on Gulf of Oman, but 300 tickets and there were enemy helis, jets, tanks, APCs raping the MEC base. I quit.

No spawn raping a team that did it to you the other round isn't good, you have to totally annihilate them. I'm talking booby trapping their vehicles with C4, Jihad jeeping them, claymoring the shit outta their uncapable. Having all your armour inside their uncapable. Constant artillery and bombing runs. Just about everything, including memorising spawn points to a point where you knife them when they spawn instead of shooting them, the artillery/bombs/tanks are there for background effect. The real spawn raping comes from constant knifing as they spawn.
I think all that happened one round we were playing in, they spawn raped us the previous round so we literally went to the uncapable as soon as the round started and killed them like that instantly. Most of their team disconnected after i think but they deserved it....
