Did you see the alliance tournament with PL winning with their bomber heavy setup? Or see the recent thread in CAOD with goons taking out 100+ BS with their small SB gang doing bombing runs in a recent engagement with -A-, atlas, and co?
Bombers are shit for solo(unless you want to pop haulers at a JB), but if you have say 3 to 4 bombers properly fit and have some light tackle support, you can camp enemy systems and pretty much harass the hell out of them and there's nothing they can do. I watched a harb instapop the other day from 3 bombers pounding it with torps after it got pulled into a sling bubble.
Definitely good stuff if you like cloaky ops or perhaps harassing a larger entity out in 0.0, but if you prefer the close up and in your face tactics then you may not like them.
