Greetings, once again tech.

I come with much annoyance to my personal computer machine system. I have many problems (only 2 that are of the annoyance). First is the problem of the CoD4 crash. Let me explain.

I was chillin at home, as one does, when I suddenly got the urge to play CoD4, since it had been a while since my last 'sesh' on it. So, as I joined up and connected to a server, the bar loaded. However, once it reached the full end, thus the server was completely loaded, the game crashed to desktop, with no warning. Odd, I though. I shall try singleplayer. To no avail, the same thing happened again. No warning, only a CTD. I though, heck, I'll just reinstall. That I did. Same result. I did it again. Same result yet again. I then went to task manager and ended all processes in the users category (I am using WinXP, SP3). Tried that, and failed. I sighed out loud, thinking how I am going to get out of this one. I tried google numerous times, and that had no conclusive evidence (actually barely any relating to my problem as a matter of fact). I then came here, and made this thread.

The second problem I am faced with is the problem of the new iTunes crashing when opened. This only recently started, as I had downloaded and installed the new software. Has anyone else had this problem? If not/so/whatever, should I roll back the update, and how would I do that? I love listening to Bethoven on a Monday's night, as it clenses the mind.

Anyway, if the guros at bf2s have no solution, then I am faced with... well... I dunno, really.

Thanks in advance (you'll also get a thanks for help after too )

Didn't Badhq make some utility to stop mp from ctd'ing?

I see you've tried it.

I had a similar problem when I first bought the game, but it only happened on a few servers and the internode ones usually worked fine.

Okay. Reformatted, got partitions working and all.

Problem is, this fucking bullshit still fucking crashes. iTunes 9.0.1 crashes, and now Im back on version 7. Whenever I try to join a CoD4 server (even singleplayer), the bastard just CTD's. I addition to this, I get the error with Steam that "Steam is currently unavaliable... blah blah blah" Ive tried deleting the registry thing in Steam and disabling the firewall etc, but this shit is just fucking insane. Now I cant fucking play any fucking games. Fucking hell, nothing ever fucking works in this house. Obstacle after obstacle...

Steam is fixed from getting the progam files from a computer that didnt explode, and now everything is updating... however iTunes 9.0.1 and CoD4 and 5 keep crashing.
