True story ^^
One of my colleagues just told us this story that happened to her friend yesterday.
This lady, (Sally, let’s call her), out of the goodness of her heart was dog sitting a Labrador for some friends while they’re on holiday. The poor dog died yesterday and she didn’t know what to do. She phoned the dog’s vet, in London, and they said if she brought the dog down to them they could put it on ice until the owners came home.
So Sally went to London on the train and tube, with the dead Lab in a suitcase.
That’s not where the fun stops.
While she was struggling with the dead-dog-suitcase up and down the tube’s escalator system, some nice man offered to help her with it. Asking what’s in it, Sally was too embarrassed and didn’t want to explain why she had a dead dog in some travel luggage, so she said it was a PC and a laptop. The man took the case and promptly ran off with it.
This burglar is going to have a shock when he gets home with his new “IT system”
The owners come home tomorrow...
